Event Details

The main influences of Ginastica Natural are Hatha Yoga & the ground movements of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

These movements combined with the techniques of stretching, flexibility, natural movements, body weight strength and breathing techniques of hatha yoga make up Ginastica Natural.

Ginastica Natural has been applied by many top athletes around the world including ski teams, surfers, tri-athletes, runners, endurance athletes & world class soccer players. In 2002 Professor Alvaro Romano applied the Ginastica Natural exercises he developed to help rehabilitate injured soccer superstar Ronaldo for the World Cup of 2002.

Also elite MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighters such as Anderson Silva, Xande & Saulo Ribeiro,  Vítor Belfort & Fabio Gurgel have used the system to help improve their performance, fitness and health.

The system is also used all over the world to help improve flexibility, health, strength, movement and well-being.

In this 3 hour seminar you will learn from creator, Professor Alvaro Romano in his first visit to the UK.

The aspects he will be covering at the seminar are:

  • Flexibility & Stretching training
  • Strength & Movement based training
  • How to apply Ginastica Natural to a physical conditioning programme
  • Motivation, Mental & Performance based training
  • Outside area training drills
  • The method and it's history with Jiu Jitsu
  • How to incorporate it into MMA and Jiu Jitsu conditioning programmes
  • Warm up for sporting events, competitions and training

I can't tell you how lucky we are to have this chance to work with Professor Romano. Show your support for the growing interest in physical culture in Scotland and come along.
